Joyce Chastain

With many years of senior-level human resources experience in the private sector environment, Joyce Chastain brings practical know-how to each engagement. As a human resources consultant with The Krizner Group, she specializes in talent development, employee relations, internal investigations, employment law compliance, and affirmative action plans. She is a frequent guest speaker for professional associations and academia covering a wide array of human resources topics.

Chastain holds a Business Administration degree from Emmanuel College, Franklin Springs, Ga.; was awarded Senior Certified Professional designation, Senior Professional in Human Resources designation and holds an Advanced Certificate in Internal Investigations.

Chastain has been named a Tallahassee Volunteer of the Year Finalist and Leon County Schools Volunteer of the Year. She was selected as one of the 25 Women You Need to Know in Tallahassee and was honored with the designation of the Florida Human Resources Professional of the Year. She has also been featured by the Florida Trend Magazine as a Trendsetter in Human Resources.

Phillip B. Russell

Phillip Russell is Board Certified in labor and employment law by the Florida Bar. He is a practical labor and employment lawyer who represents businesses in a wide range of labor and employment law matters, including workplace safety and health
(OSHA), traditional labor relations (staying union-free), unfair competition and trade secrets litigation, employment litigation defense, and advising and counseling employers on workplace legal compliance issues. Phillip represents clients in the
construction, staffing, technology, manufacturing, banking, and other industries. He is also a nationally recognized speaker and author on labor and employment law issues.

Phillip’s first job was bagging groceries and stocking shelves in his family’s grocery store. As a teenager, he learned the value of hard work and business. His grandfather took him to business meetings and Phillip saw first-hand the challenges of managing a business and employees. But he also saw the true value in positive employee relations. Now, Phillip represents and protects each of his clients, large or small, as if they were his family’s grocery business – with enthusiasm, dedication, and a strong belief that lawsuits, government investigations, and unions are not good for business or employees.

In 2015, Phillip celebrated his 20th year of practicing law. Sheryle S. Woodruff, MS, founder of Conflict Management Associates Inc. (CMA), is a Trainer, Conflict Coach, EEO Counselor and Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator. She holds a Master’s Degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution/Conflict Studies and has been working in Human Resources field for over twenty years. Sheryle has authored two books on peer mediation and has written many articles about workplace conflict and early intervention. Sheryle specializes in helping organizations eliminate conflict related obstacles that weaken organizations and distract staff from their core functions. Jonathan Jarrell, is the Corporate Director of Human Resources for Cone Distributing based in Ocala, FL. He is a Certified Speaker and Leadership Coach with the John Maxwell Company and a Certified Social & Emotional Intelligence Coach. Known by his friends as JJ he has used his influence in HR to focus on individual strengths while improving performance. In his
previous role as a Regional Director of HR JJ was responsible for an employee group of over 1800 people. This has taught him a few things about Leadership! JJ is a little different, he actually believes you can change the world by the way you lead.

Sergio A. Delgado,
Retired from The Federal Mediation Conciliation Service (FMCS) after thirty years.

He was a mediator and later the Director of Mediation and Supervisor for the Southern Region. During that time, he was involved in many complex labor negotiations and mediations. Sergio has also delivered hundreds of speeches and presentations to a diverse group of participants on a variety of labor management and ADR topics. Sergio has a Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Since retiring from FMCS in 2014, he has been working as a Consultant, Labor Arbitrator, Mediator, Trainer and Dispute Resolution Specialist. He has worked on disputes in the public, private and federal sectors of the economy servicing customers such as The Kennedy Space Center and Walt Disney World.
